Groundhog units available for Hire

The single axle Groundhog Mobile Welfare Unit is a lightweight and compact towable unit that meets HSE requirements and provides all your on-site needs in one small package.

The units are suitable for accommodating six people, they provide a pleasant and safe working environment combining canteen facilities with separate toilet and drying room.

All our welfare units have the same facilities, specifications are as follows:

  • Table and bench seating for up to 6 people

  • LED lighting with PIR

  • Air blown heating system.

  • Hardwired microwave and kettle.

  • Onboard hot water heating system.

  • Stainless steel sink.

  •  Powered socket outlets.

  •  RCD controlled consumer board.

  •  Generator start panel with hour run metre

  •  Fresh and wastewater containers (20L)

  •  Carbon monoxide and smoke alarms

  •  Paper towels, soap and cup dispenser

  •   130Amp battery with charger and battery guard

  •   280L standard toilet

All powered by a 6KVA diesel generator that will run for 25 hours(approximately) on a full tank.  We supply the unit with a full tank – if you need more just top it up

Like our construction hire toilet package, if you hire a welfare unit as part of the weekly hire fee your toilet will be cleaned and serviced weekly.

  •   Effluent removed from the tank and disposed of

  •   Toilet is then refilled with fresh clean water and blue chemical.

  •    Hand towels, toilet rolls, and soap are refilled every week.
